Yoga


Before we turn the music on at 11:00 AM, we will be offering all of our guests an opportunity to come in early to get your stretch and positive vibes on!  Yoga mats,  fabulous instructors, and (of course!) background music will be provided.

Yoga class times will be:

Saturday & Sunday

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

8:15 AM – 9:15 AM

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM

The Yoga platform is a beautiful spot overlooking the hills, all the way to Okanagan lake. It’s a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Volim Valley and start your day with a refreshed mind.  Once you’re done you can check out some of our vendors or “The Chill Out Lodge” to grab a bite before the big day begins.

Yoga is free to all guests.

“I began practicing yoga a few years ago and finished my 200-hour teacher training in May of 2016. I believe yoga has something to offer everyone. Whether you have never practiced or whether you have been practicing for years, always acknowledging that your own journey is unique, that your yoga practice can offer an eternal challenge to push your boundaries but it can also can guide you to nourish and respect your body just as it is.”

“I always encourage a mindful practice, finding your movement in sync with your breath, allowing your physical practice to transpire into a form of meditation.”


KRISTI

350+ hrs yoga teacher training.

“I love to integrate multiple styles of yoga into one class to hit all the needs of your bod, brain, and spirit. In my many years of yoga experience I am confident in saying that yoga has a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ for everyone! In my class, you can expect instruction to be mindful breathing, encouragement to move outside of your comfort zone, deep rest and rejuvenation, and a space to do your own thang in a safe, loving atmosphere. I’d be overjoyed to share yoga with you!”


HEATHER

“I started practicing yoga six years ago, not only did I notice the difference in my flexibility but also in my strength, physically and mentally. The more I connected with my practice the more I connected with myself. Finding inner strength that I didn’t know I had. I felt compelled to take the teacher training a few years ago, and have now been teaching a power flow yoga class for two years. I love teaching playful sequences that not only challenge you but hopefully will leave you smiling at the end of the class! I challenge you with complete respect for your bodies knowing everyone’s practice and ability is their own. I’m excited to guide you through your next yoga experience!”


LORENN

“I was introduced to yoga 8 years ago, and have had a passion for it ever since! I graduated in June of 2016 with my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. I was born and raised in Kelowna, B.C. and have always been athletic and involved in sports such as snowboarding, golf, soccer, hockey, biking, and hiking. Yoga has helped me excel in each of these activities as it not only increases my strength and flexibility but also helps prevent injuries and strains. I practice yoga because it gives me balance and makes me feel whole. My yoga mat is a place without distraction and a place where I can live in the present moment. Yoga is something that has helped me inwardly connect with myself and also allows me to continuously increase awareness about my body. I teach each class with love and compassion for everyone involved. I am devoted to keeping my classes creative and making everyone laugh, smile and leave feeling grounded.


Mollie

Mollie Sommer is the owner of Mollie Sommer Wellness in Kamloops, BC. She has been practicing yoga for over ten years and has recently followed her passion to become a teacher. Learning to follow Devine signs, she has opened her heart to the Yoga way of life. Making connections and making yoga accessible, for all ages and levels, are her greatest passions. Mollie offers Hatha classes for all levels in a welcoming and loving environment. Making yoga less intimidating for beginners, offering pranayama and meditation classes allows her students a wider yoga experience, helping them manage the stress of their busy daily lives.

Mollie also facilitates Phoenix Rising Retreats, which are held in Revelstoke at Mulvehill Creek Inn. These retreats are built so women can have a safe and worry-free weekend, to restore energy and relax. The intention being women can return to their busy lives with renewed passion and excitement.
