#WEAREONELOVE

Rules and Regulations

We at Volim Valley have some expectations from our guests. We ask this so that we can have a successful event and be able to throw a great event year after year. This is in your hands!

No Drugs, Weapons or Alcohol (Don’t panic, read on)

We want everyone to come out and have a great time, but there will be a zero tolerance towards any drugs, weapons, or alcohol being brought onto the festival grounds. Note that the alcohol rule only applies to festival grounds, brought in alcohol is permitted on camping grounds. There will be security set up at the main gate to search people prior to entering. If you are found with any of these they will be confiscated, you will loose your wristband and possibly be turned over to the police.

No Trace

One of the biggest things we care about at Volim Valley is leaving the beautiful nature the exact way it was before we got there. It has become common amongst festivals to see hoards of garbage left all over the grounds after the fun has ended, we strive to keep Volim Valley out of this stereotype. There will be plenty of garbage and recycle bins around and we strongly encourage our guests to use them. Cups deposits will be in place to help keep that grass green and give a good incentive for holding onto it. We will be providing free cigarette butt disposal containers to anyone who wishes to smoke, these containers can then be disposed of themselves once you’re finished with them. We live in a very beautiful country so let’s try our best to keep it that way so we can continue to have events in the future.

No Glass

Plain and simple. No glass is allowed to be brought anywhere on site.

No Violence, Harassment or Mischief

Volim is Croatian for love. Violence, harassment and mischief are very not loved. Kelowna has lost a lot of great events in the past due to a handful of people ruining it for everyone else. You don’t want to have that go down in your legacy, so treat others how you wish to be treated. There will be zero tolerance for any acts of violence or abuse to staff or venue. Security will be very mindful of our guest to ensure everyone has a great time. Any actions against this will result in losing your festival privileges for life and you will also be handed over to the police.

No Drinking and Driving

We understand that the festival is a little bit out of town, but that is no excuse to get into your vehicle and put yourself and everyone else at risk. We will be working with the police to set up road blocks to prevent this from happening. Depending on the volume of guests we may be providing a shuttle service to and from Kelowna. At that location, you can grab a cab or get someone to pick you up. The safety and convenience of our guests is our main priority so we will be working on as many options as we can to get you safely to and from Volim Valley. *Please keep in mind you can not park your vehicle overnight at the festival without a camping pass*

Don’t Over Do It

We know it’s easy to get carried away when you’re having fun, but please remember to be responsible. If you are obviously intoxicated our staff will be forced cut you off. If you feel like you need a break we encourage you to go to “the chill out lodge” and relax for a while before joining the party again.

Don’t Be a Creep

There will be zero tolerance of any kind for anyone going out of their way to make others feel uncomfortable. We are strongly encouraging anyone feeling “creeped” out to address our security staff and tell them what’s going on. Volim Valley has a one warning policy for this kind of activity, reoccurring complaints about the same individual will lead to dismissal from the festival and possibly being banned for life.

We will only send you love, no spam or annoying messages here.
