The Venue

Volim Valley music festival will be held at the majestic Heartland Ranch. Previously known as 8 mile Ranch, this 175+ acre historic Okanagan gem lies just ten minutes outside of Kelowna on Highway 33 on the way to Big White Mountain resort. Heartland is a beautiful old-style ranch turned camp and event area perched on the hillside in some of Canada’s most beautiful country. The wide open grassy fields bordered by large ponderosa pines are set amongst mountain, lake, sunset, and valley views. Mission Creek flows peacefully in the valley below the ranch. Nature will awe you in any direction you may look, making Heartland an incredible place to come together. Music lovers of all walks of life will truly be thrilled by the backdrop which is offered at this venue.

How to get here

The lodge at Heartland is a rustic old barn-like building that serves as a get away from the busy stage/performance area.  There will be food and beverage served from 7am until late. This is a perfect place to come and relax and take a breather from the dancing, noise and mayhem of the festival grounds.  The lodge will also be hosting the after parties, scheduled from 11:00Pm until late on each night of the festival.

Heartland doesn’t just offer a gorgeous setting to enjoy live music – the camping area available to festival goers is fantastic.  With many mature trees and lush forested areas, not only does this provide a sought-after natural setting for campers, but can offer shade and a place of refuge from the heat. It is important to keep in mind that camping space is limited, so in order to avoid missing out on securing a camping spot reserve your tickets in the pre-order stage.

All of us at Volim Valley are very honoured and excited to be able to offer such a transformative music experience in such an epic setting. We look forward to building a great relationship with the owners and staff who love and care for Heartland. We want to encourage our festival goers to adopt the same attitude of love and respect for this venue and for those people responsible for it. With that in place, we can continue to have Volim Valley here year after year, and in time, hopefully, expand our musical horizons to other festival features as well.

We will only send you love, no spam or annoying messages here.
